Check Print Ready is a free browser-based tool. Your files never leave your device. We provide the service "as is" without warranties, and you're responsible for how you use the results. That's the gist — the full terms are below.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Check Print Ready (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of service
Check Print Ready is a free, browser-based toolkit that helps users check image resolution (DPI), simulate CMYK colour output, detect stray pixels, and overlay safe-zone guides for print-on-demand products. All processing occurs entirely within your browser using client-side technologies (JavaScript, Canvas API, Web Workers). No files are uploaded to any server.
3. Your content
You retain full ownership of all images and files you process through Check Print Ready. Since all processing happens locally in your browser, we never access, store, or transmit your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and process the images you open in the tool.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content that violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its associated website.
- Misrepresent Check Print Ready's output as a guarantee of professional print quality.
5. Intellectual property
The Check Print Ready name, logo, user interface, and all original code are the intellectual property of Check Print Ready and its contributors. The Service's source code may be available under a separate open-source licence — refer to the project's GitHub repository for specifics. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use Check Print Ready's branding or trademarks outside of normal use of the Service.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Check Print Ready does not warrant that the results produced by the tool will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific printing requirements.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Check Print Ready and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Since Check Print Ready processes all data locally on your device, we cannot be held responsible for any data loss caused by your browser or operating system.
8. Third-party links & resources
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources (e.g. Google Fonts, GitHub). These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Check Print Ready is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Service at any time without notice. Since Check Print Ready runs entirely in your browser and collects no account information, there are no accounts to terminate. You may simply stop using the Service at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal legal action.
